Swedish 19th Century Child's Highchair

Charming Swedish 19th Century highchair in its original paint.

This chair features a carved bow crest and scroll carved armrests. The seat rests over a base that incorporates a cupboard. The door opens with a catch and inside is a lift-out tray as well as a storage compartment. 

This will have been designed to be used as a chair once the child has grown. It stands on four original carved wooden wheels.

In white/cream paint which has beautifully distressed with age. 

An unusual and rare feature for any interior.
