Beautiful pair of 18th Century Swedish side chairs.
These chairs have been scraped back to reveal their original paintwork which is also original to the Gustavian period. These chairs also have elements of the original underlying Rococo colour.
Both chairs feature a simple, curved back which is classically turned. The whole is supported on decorative cabriole legs that are joined by a central stretcher and leather seat.
A wonderful pair of chairs that will bring rustic, Swedish charm into any room.
